Program Description

Event Details

Hikers in southern New England have often encountered human-made stone ruins along the trails and wondered how old they were, what they were and whom might have built them. The former CT State Archaeologist Nick Bellantoni has compiled 40 sites along known trail systems. His upcoming book tells of the ruin’s histories, functions and antiquities. Nick’s presentation includes four trails located in Barkhamsted.

A very short Friends of the Library business meeting precedes this program. All are welcome.

Program will be followed by a light luncheon. Sponsored by the Friends of the Library.
